In Golden, British Columbia, Canada, wolves have a loving home.

Northern Lights Wildlife Wolf Centre promotes wolf conservation throughout the natural environment. We value the role these carnivores play in nature. We strive to provide a one-of-a-kind, quality experience to the public as we support conservation through education.

The Northern Lights Wildlife Wolf Centre is an educational facility that loves to educate the public about wolves. They offer interpretive programs about wolves and conservation and interactive school presentations/field trips to teach about wolves and their role in maintaining a healthy environment.
The wolves at the Northern Lights Wildlife Wolf Centre live in 1.25-acre enclosures, where interpretive talks can take place at the fence. All the wolves at Northern Lights are exercised regularly, off-leash in the wilderness, so they are happy and healthy ambassadors for their wild cousins.

Walk with the wolves and photograph them in their natural habitat. Nestled between the Rockies and the Purcell Mountains, they are blessed with plenty of wilderness, and the scenery is fabulous.

Since 2002 Casey and Shelley Black have operated Northern Lights Wolf Centre. The Wolf Centre is a privately owned facility with dedicated, long-serving staff. They all work at educating the public to advocate and stimulate awareness about the importance of wolves in our environment. The whole team actively pursues a long-term interest in changing public opinion about wolves and influencing government policy in the favour of a balanced, holistic environment that includes the dynamic role of wolves.

Today the Northern Lights Wolf hosts a pack of wolves, all born in captivity. These wolves howl with joy daily as a healthy pack of wolf ambassadors.
